Mime Jr. normally stands 0.4 m tall, but Little Hat is 0.5 m at birth — a full 10 cm taller than its peers.

Overjoyed, Lu Li hugged Mime Jr. tight and exclaimed, “Mime Jr., amazing!”

Mime Jr.: “Mi~ (You knew it already.)” — a proud nod and a cute sound.

Lu Li, still ecstatic, recorded Mime Jr.’s basic info:

If successful, Charmander could transcend to Master-level potential.

After bringing Mime Jr. upstairs and announcing the new family member, Baobao gushed, “So cute — I want one too!”

Lu Li: “Focus on raising your Ralts and the others; once you reach Gym level I’ll find you a high-talent Mime Jr.”

Yao Yifei smiled knowingly. Then she mentioned business: “The Queen Bee said the Precious Flowers can seed again.”

Lu Li hurried to the garden. The flowers had recovered from the last seeding and, with Lu Li’s sealing gestures, produced 10 seeds this time — doubling the garden to 20 rare flowers. At this pace the garden could be a sea of rare flowers within two years.

A new life brought liveliness to the villa. Lu Li rested a few days, then led his team to open a new orchard in the Thousand-Faced God’s secret realm. The realm’s denizens hadn’t optimized land use — lots of useless trees — so Lu Li planned fruit orchards instead, which made sense given the realm’s abundant attribute energy.

Lu Li estimated 2,000 m² would suffice, planting trees at two meters per sapling to yield ~1,000 fruit trees.

Next, Lu Li told Charmander to turn the felled trees to ash. As a fire-type arsonist, Charmander loved it — sparks became fire, then an inferno that consumed all combustible matter. Charmander cheered... then suddenly changed color.

Charmander: “Fire~ (Trainer, I can’t hold it!)”

Lu Li: “???” — worried it was sick; then Charmander clarified: “I mean I’m going to break through (evolve)!”

Lu Li: serious, asked if Charmander truly couldn’t be held back further. Charmander nodded. Lu Li removed the Everstone from its neck.

“Go, Charmander. Embrace rebirth in the flames.”

Charmander rushed into the blaze. Fire gathered and spiraled, forming a towering pillar that tore through the sky — orange-red with a blue core, heat bending the air, embers like blood meteors.

Tropius: “Hot — can we move away?” — grass-types dislike flame. Lu Li agreed; even he felt the heat intense.

Lu Li mused that Charmander’s evolution was unusually intense — a product of the secret realm or other influence?

A clear, playful voice answered: “Cool~ I was wondering why there’s such a big fire-rule fluctuation in my realm — turns out it’s you, Lu Li.”

Erguipeng appeared. Lu Li: “Weren’t you collecting materials? Back so soon?”

Erguipeng: “Even if I’m away I feel realm fluctuations. That evolving Charmander — is it yours?” Lu Li: “Yes.” Erguipeng praised Charmander and tossed a crimson crystallized Fire Law into the column.

Erguipeng explained: ordinary Pokémon breaking into the divine domain isn’t easy, but with this it’s fine. The Fire Law crystal is powerful — enough to help convert mundane fire-root into a core fire-geofound root. Adding the crystal was like pouring oil on the fire; the pillar grew larger and hotter.

Lu Li thanked Erguipeng. Erguipeng smiled: “We’re companions — we saved the world together.”

Lu Li resolved to repay the favor: he’d make Erguipeng into a Little Arceus-level force — his Erguipeng should have many masks (attributes), not just three.

Milotic felt a pang of envy; if it had Erguipeng’s crystallized influence it might have reached Lord-level.

While Charmander evolved, Lu Li asked about Erguipeng’s mask-material collection. Erguipeng grumbled: collecting law crystals alone is slow; Mewtwo (or Mew/fantasy) kept sneaking off to play, so Erguipeng was collecting at the World Tree alone.
